Fifth Water Hot Springs

Great hike, only 2.5 miles up a narrow gorge rimmed in parts with red rock. There are several different pools that are heated by thermals. We took the cure on Sunday.

Toll Canyon

Great morning for a hike, a few pics of Toll Canyon. Have been hiking up here for the last 19 years.

Asters - Y2K

Lace

Aspen miracle

Seems the beaver of Toll Canyon wish to construct a dam. They have attacked several good sized aspens in the area. All but this tree are dead, looks like this one won't go without a fight. The tiny branches sprouted almost overnight.

Fairy Fort - the Tree

This tree has been decorated by the fairies for years. It has gone through many transformations over the years. Each Fairy has their own interpretation for what "Fairy" decor should look like.

Mama Moose and Twins

Apparently they were all enjoying the fresh grass and sprinklers. We noticed the trio on our way to Toll Canyon relaxing in a neighbor's yard. They hung around for a few hours, being photographed and admired by everyone. They were dang cute!!

March Fourth - Marching Band

Stilt Walker - this guy not only tossed around children, he was also balancing two women at once!!

March Fourth

Few more pics -

March Fourth - Marching Band

This band played at The Canyons - they were the greatest. Not only was their music wonderful, they had stilt walkers , acrobats and theater performers roaming the audience. They are from Portland Oregon.

Their costumes were amazing, not your typical - fish net stockings, bare chests with some serious tattoos, striped tights for the guys, hats with plumes and best yet, many in the audience dressed just as zany as the band.

Big Finger

Sister to big foot. Located in West Yellowstone, note the crazed look

Best Wine Picks

Who cares what they taste like!!

Marshelle's finished work

What a fantastic teacher. She was amazing. She is one of Summit Park's talented artists. See her web site at www.artisticmarks.com

Elegant Deb shows off her wrap

Wrap work of art

Lovely Nina - displays her wrap work.

Remember the painting's position on the wall? It fell - adding tons of excitement to the evening. I have never seen ladies respond in such a quick clean up mode. That painting is my cheap attempt at a Monet, maybe he is trying to tell me something.

Marshelle with wrapped ear - now how are we going to get that out??

Mother of young wrapper, very talented.

Finished art

Youngest wrapper -

She is a beauty and she knows how to wrap!!

Aren't they cute - Nancy, Ginny, Deb

Laurel and Kara have to stand for this part of the wrap.

Ginny has the attention of the wrappers (note painting still on the wall) as more wine is consumed the wrapping becomes more intense, people complement one another and covet their neighbors art work.

Attention is focused on Nina - not sure why (note lilly pad painting on wall)

Wrap workshop put on by Marshelle Spafford (note the intensity of the wrappers) and also note the picture on the wall in the background where it is hanging at normal height, now keep an eye on that picture
