Happy Trails Meeting

After a strenuous beach experience, we moved on to the Rowdy Boys for the Friday night pig roast.

Jim R. Took all the photographs, he's a great HT photographer.
Susan, Jim, Gayle, Bruce, Sharie, James, Chris, me. Maureen & Bruce2, met joined us for dinner.

Happy Trails Girls Celebrate

We made it through yet another grueling adventure and lived to tell about it. Cooled down with Margaritas, our Cabana Boys relaxed, occasionally bringing us refills while we were bobbing.....trying to get perked up for our next planning session.

Happy Trail to Beach

Happy Trails Investigates

We walked from our place to these spectacular ruins. The chimney is one of the finest we've seen. The door frames were pegged with wooden pins.

Shower Party

Penny and John had a party to celebrate their new outdoor shower, truly a work of art. Created from recycled bottles, it is amazing.

Sailing, Sailing

Gayle & Bruce treated us to a day of sailing on Aquarelle, their sailboat. Went to a small island, anchored and went snorkeling quite a way. Wow, after a full day on the sea we were exhausted.

Midway Kitty Named China

She's waiting to go in to buy cat food. G & B's sail boat, Jeanie's beautiful shell.

Turtle Cove Ridge

My own little private Eco Tour, love this place, flora and fauna are spectacular. There are all kinds of sink holes, gorgeous old growth vegetation, rock walls, really a cool place.

Little Harbour - Roses Ruins

This was our third attempt at finding the ruins. You can be only a few feet away and miss huge structures since the bush is so thick and the color of the ruins blends in with the bush. We struck out on good finds this time, Gayle did find a couple of glass beads in the privy.

Happy Trails

Planning committee, a lot of hard work goes into these adventures. At the Rowan's, then the Rowdy Boys.....

Salt Home Pricessing

After collecting around three (half full) 5 gallon buckets, I had enough. We tried to drain some of the water right where we collected, but wasn't easy. I was all covered in salt, that stuff us soooooo sticky. We went to the beach to rinse off and relax.
Headed home to unload. Put it out front to dry. Will take a couple of days before all the water evaporates. We have large and small crystals.

Diamond Crystal

Chris way out, skiff of water, but mostly hardened up.

Margaritaville Salt

Jimmy forced us here. There was a good wind blowing. Jeanie and I worked the edge, Chris out farther. Thickest at the edge, but when you broke through there was muck.

Diamond Crystal

Me rakin and scrapin. Shows the whole process - but not the extreme heavy buckets!!
