Salvage Operation

I spied this paddle boat, a Water Bee, under some casuarina tree limbs and other debris on the beach near blue hole. Our salvage crew went in with saws and raw courage to extract it from the tangle of bush. Needs a few tweaks, but otherwise pretty good. Going to take it to Turtle Cove and paddle around. I've been on a real roll, new cooler and now a boat!

Dean, Claire, Troy

Came over after school to use the washer, theirs broke. Cutest little rascals. Troy was interested in the skim board he saw in the garage, Dean in his Frisbee and Claire wanted to see the baby shoes on Junkanoo Trail.

Gordon's Hike

After we hit the beach went to the north. No truly great finds, saw parts of a container, probably from El Faro. News warned of El Faro debris floating near Long Island.
We were out for over 7 hours, battered from the sticks and stones of the trail. Were too tired to even stop at Outer Edge Grill.
BEC employees were hard at work on the repair of electric poles all the way below Roses. So many homes destroyed, electric poles were snapped like match sticks.

Gordon's Hike

An hour on a lousy trail to the beach. The rock walls are works of art. Thus one gies almost all the way to the sea.
