Burial Society - Roses

Andi and Jeff stopped to take photos of what they thought was a church, but is actually a Burial Society that provides burials for those families that can't afford to bury their loved ones. There were three coffins in the building, ready when needed.

Glass Ball Found

Chris was the lucky winner, Nice glass ball. Jeff found an old bottle. Was usual assortment of needles, personal care products, soaps, container parts, Halloween masks, toys and Frontline.

Shoes - Glass Ball Beach

Came across several pairs of Mary Jane shoes, also some Sketchers, not bad. Somebody had organized and displayed in pairs.
Me at Turtle Cove Beach, shows the erosion, have to be careful I don't get buried in sand when it collapses.

Good Morning Sandy

Sandy checks in for her morning breakfast and petting.
Cabbage Point, rainbows at Turtle Cove.

Christmas at Blue Hole Yacht Club

Our new mantra - Blue Hole Yacht Club - Keeping Hippies, Snowbirds and Beach Bums afloat since 2006. Related to my best beach find yet, "Little Eddy" a nice paddle boat. Andi designed and created our fabulous tshirts.
Great Christmas Day, hung around our beaches, some snorkeling, just a nice laid back day.

Lobsters

Got these right in our own back yard reef.

Clarence Town

First a visit to Lochabar, then went snorkeling down by Beverly Knowles place. Saw a really neat old anchor on the coral. Made us wonder if an old pirate ship went down. Dinner at Outer Edge, mailboats coming and going.

Seawinds Grand Opening

Wonderful to have them up and running, bought some fresh feta cheese. Things are coming together, cleanup crews were hauling away huge piles of hurricane trash along Queens Highway.

Jesus, Mary & Joseph

They made it through Hurricane Joaquin, happy to see them! The containers and blue tarp neatly stored in the parking lot.

A Visitor

Need to go through my stuff more often. This critter was in a crate on the front porch. I thought Chris had brought home the shell. Then realized it was alive and well, simply making itself at home in the crate. It was evicted. More reasons to hurry up and get that screen up.

Mailboat Stuck at Lochabar & Goats

Mailboat docked at Clarence Town, Blew away during Hurricane Joaquin, ripped off Pinkerton's dock, then blew into Lochabar up onto a sandbar. Currently no salvage plans. Two guys are living on the boat, they crank up the generator in the evening, turn on the lights and party on. They are not the most popular people with the Lochabar residents.

Demolished by Joaquin

There used to be an enormous Bali Style home where you can see some white material. It was blown to smithereens, pieces all over the place.

Leaving Gordon's

Gordon's Boating

Chris suits up for "Sea Hunt". I briefly operated the boat to pick up the guys. Chris encountered a very large shark, never saw him move at warp speed before to get back in the boat. Problem with River Rat's boat is getting back in, requires super strength.
No luck spear fishing, but still a great day.
Went into Clarence Town and noticed Seacor was unloading a bunch of travel trailers probably destined for Dunmore and points south.
