At the Barn - getting ready

Summit Park Girls

The mountain girls attack the flowers, creating unbelievable flower arrangements, bouquets and boutonnieres. These three go back over 20 years, boarded the school bus together for their first day of Kindergarten at Parley's Park school in Park City.

Flower Power

Laurel works magic with Lexi on the flowers. They trimmed, then stuck them in water.

Bathing the Flowers

Our cabin south of Lexington, the flowers took a jacuzzi bath, just the hydrangeas.

Near Natural Bridge - Our Cabin

Staying here for three nights before we move to the reception site.

Hill Top Hotel - Harper's Ferry

We stayed at this hotel shortly before it was closed in 2008. The view was
amazing. New owners started renovating, then put the project on hold. The place has the look and feel for a Steven King novel, something like "The Shining". Sad to see what bad shape it is in.

Turtles in Slime Water & Mushrooms

We walked along the river and went back by the canal. Must be turtle heaven, because they were all over the place. Noticed a huge snapping turtle, probably three feet long.

School Tile Work

This school is a block away from Lexi's apartment. Next photos of a restaurant, Birds in the Belfry, near Harper's Ferry, formerly an old church.

Philadelphia Magic Garden

A mosaicked visionary art environment and gallery. Located in South Philly, I have never seen anything like it. Lexi walked us past it, knowing my tile addiction, so of course we made the tour. I could barely tear myself away. Have to admit I was on sensory over load and needed to get out, after several hours. Over 3,000 square foot space covered in all sorts of tiles, bric a brac. Too much to take in on one visit.

Amazing Tiles

Isaiah Zagar started this work of art I'm 1994, took him 14 years to complete.

Nooks and Crannies

Way too much to take in!

Outside Maze

Majority of these photos are from the Magic Garden. It was a damp rainy day, but never the less I had a wonderful time going through the art work.

Inside and Outside

Everything Imaginable!

This guy makes use of all that he finds in travels, given to him, junk from the street - everything.
