Cuba

Missouri, that is. Hit the Meramac River for a great raft trip. Spent the night at the historic Wagon Wheel Motel on Route 66 in Cuba.

Sweet Home Alabama

After a few hours sleep, we retrieved the jalopy from the storage unit and headed to Sharie & James place. After 780 miles we were there. Beautiful, so green and lush. They showed us around their gorgeous retreat, complete with creeks, river and mountains. A very nice hideaway!

Cathedral of Toledo - Espana

Chris standing at one of the minor entries to the church.

Cathedral Monstrance of 18Kilo Gold

Enough gold to stop world hunger. The first shipment of gold from South America was used to make the interior monstrance of the larger one. They still carry the monstrance around the streets of Toledo once a year.

Goya Painting - Domes - Frescoes

Over the Top - Cathedral

Unbelievable

Cathedral

There was so much confusion going on in this cathedral it was hard to keep track. To this very day there is a "blended Moorish- Catholic" mass that goes on everyday. The only place in the world.

Cathedral

Cathedral Toledo

View From Toledo

Me with my uninspiring meal.....no more moussaka testing.

Little Nun Dolls in Shop Window

El Greco's Museum. Kind of disappointing. Person who bought this house found out afterwards it didn't belong to El Greco, he went ahead and opened it as a museum anyway, had several El Greco paintings.

Toledo

Love the blood shot eyes of Big Brother.
Bunches of herbs hanging off that building.

Alcazar

Hate to have these guys coming toward me, of course I have no idea how they could move!
The colorful outfitted guys look like the Three Stooges.

Alcazar Toledo

They build over the ruins, hard to keep track of things.
