Blue Hole - Memorial Service

Three women drowned at the Blue Hole in July 2008. A memorial marker has been placed at the Blue Hole. There was a memorial service for the ladies November 21, 2012.
Victoria and Sam helped coordinate the flowers the divers took to the hole.

Frank's dog stole a lion fish, he dropped it before any damage was done. This was a great band.

Kenny, Charles - Lion Fish

Charles filleted 300 lion fish on Friday, and probably a 1,000 on Saturday. Kenny(red shirt) prepared the fish. We had samples of lion fish ceviche and fried. Very good.

Was quite the day, loaded everything in the old jalopy and headed home. Hope my tiles can acclimate to this climate. It is dang hit here.

G & G Shipping

Well,we received the first of 5 or 6 pallets. The customs was a shocker, but must say we love our new pillow top mattress. My beloved tile tables arrived safely. Mattresses are taxed at 60%, plus the cost of shipping is added in to the price of mattress when they calculate the duty. So we estimate our $600 mattress ended up over $1,000.....

Yes, we all lost our best friends

Pretty bad pic, but wanted to highlight the amazing Penny and John - a real inspiration. Their home and yard are absolutely fantastic.

Car storage

This was pretty funny. As usual we were down to the wire storing our car before we took off for Long Island. We straightened every thing up, pulled the cables to the battery, lashed down the car cover, (rather complex procedure given Chris' love of clever knot techniques) stepped away to lock it - well without the battery cables guess what. Had to take it from the top.....

Swap Meet - Fort Lauderdale

I was practically having withdrawal symptoms - managed to walk out with only a few things. Was a fantastic place, beautiful produce, places to eat, clothes, junk - simply tons of good stuff
