Dunmore Ruins

> Definitely an Indiana Jones place. That's a round platform Janelle and Terry are standing on, probably an old windmill. Ruins date to late 18th century. Took an hour on a lousy road, through water and rocks, then a good hour through the bush before we found these ruins. We could see both sides of the island at the ridge.

First time we made it here. Chris did a fine job of bush whacking, he's like a machine when he gets going.

Flood Refugees

Janelle and Terry were driven out of Missouri by historic flooding on the Meramec, Mississippi and Missouri rivers. They were holed up in their house for five days until the water receded. Decided it was safer in Hurricane territory.
A miracle happened, Bahamasair was on time!!!!!

April's Happy Trails

Note the mystery mirror, we couldn't see our reflections, guess we are vampires.
Stopped by Beverly's and bought a few things. Then continued on to the beach for a dip.

Happy Trails Newest Member

April passed her initiation with flying colors. She's good with clippers, no whining about bugs or cat's claws and other unpleasant things. We found a sunken catamaran, a scattering of old ruins on a hill, a mystery mirror and lots of bottles.

Andi & Jeff couldn't stay away from the Blue Hole before leaving for Dallas. We're going to miss them, only ones crazy enough to snorkel in any weather! There's a plane buzzing the Blue Hole.
