Lord Terry Dunlap
Our crazy relative Dunmore thinks this belongs to him - wrong!! This is the traditional site of Lord Dunmore's Plantation.
Roses - A Fabulous Well
This well is right behind a house on right on the Queen's Highway. In excellent shape, full of water.
The Cutest Bush People & Goats
Found these two roughing it off the tailgate at our latest Bush Party. We didn't invite the adorable goats because they were rather "pushy",

Roses - West of Queen's Highway
Branched out to find new ruins, was a disappointment. There was a road heading west to the sea, with rock walls on both sides. Several groupings of houses were along the road, abandoned a long time ago. Houses were stone tabby construction, nice water wells.
After Our Roses Incident
After having a Rowdy Boy, barefooted, run down the road after us, waving his arms, screaming and yelling at us, we were a bit nervous about continuing our hike into the Roses little settlement. Apparently a person drove by and noticed our guys with their cutlass holders looking like shot guns and reported to Paul Carroll that somebody was shooting his goats, so he took off after us. He told us it was a good thing his wife was off with his Jeep that had his shotgun, because he would have come after us with the gun.

Dunmore
A bit over confident, we hit Lord Dunmore's place thinking we would cruise through with no glitches, wrong....James gallant attempt to navigate to the windmill platform failed. We fumbled about trying to locate the large circular platform with no luck. James, Jim and I decided to simply regroup with the others, when voila!! We stumbled upon the mill platform, shocking! Everything had overgrown an amazing amount!!
