Celestial Seasonings - Avery Brewing

No we didn't join a strange religious sect, just took the tea tour. Celestial has been around for nearly 50 years. Most of their teas are actually "herbal infusions". Only a few contain tea, like Sleepy Time. The peppermint room was wonderful.
Later we dined and sampled brews at Avery, very good. They even sell aged beers having high alcohol content (16%) like wines.

Red Rock - Settlers Park at Boulder

Took a mini hike here, reminiscent of Utah'a Red Rocks. Located at the start of Boulder Canyon in Boulder.

Moffat Tunnel - James Peak Wilderness

Started the hike at the portal of the Moffat Tunnel, it is 17 miles long and pops out at Winter Park. When they start up the engines to clear out the air in the tunnel the noise is deafening, it runs for 20 minutes or so. Only hiked around 1.5 hour, took it easy after the Diamond Lake hike.

Bridesmaid Dress from 1972

I wore this to Claire and Ed's wedding in 1972, Lexi models it for us, complete with hat.

Diamond Lake - at Last!!

Really spectacular, awesome and amazing! Worth the the 2 hour hike. Only took an 1.5 hours to go back. After the hike we had dinner at the Pioneer Inn in Nederland, no energy left to cook. We did enjoy birthday cake at home.

Diamond Lake Trail

After around an hour of hiking, you reach this beautiful waterfall, it's an uphill and downhill to get here. Then, little do you know that you have another hour to get to the lake. At least that is how long it took me.
