Blasted through deep muck and whacked off a lot of brush covering the road, despite obstacles managed to make it to Glass Ball Beach. Sand was gone from our favorite little beach by the mushroom rocks where we typically put in. Sargasso grass and all kinds of trash was in the water and all over the beach. Found more Mickey Mouse stuffed animals, personal care products, mayonnaise, M&Ms, lots of stuff. There were panels from a container, probably the El Faro ship that went down about 35 miles north of Crooked Island.
Ulla was the champion hunter of the day - a fabulous odd shaped green glass ball, looked really old.
Celebrated with dinner at The Outer Edge. Saw River Rat (from MN on Mississippi) there, he took us out on his little boat Saturday, Chris managed to spear two lobsters, despite the poor visibility.
After dinner a big sleek fishing yacht came in, we went over and welcomed them to Long Island. They had been successful fishing and gave us two nice sized Mahi Mahi.
All in all a really great weekend.
