Angry Crab Invasion

After a couple of heavy rains we are having record breaking CRABS!! They are out in the hundreds, all over the roads, yards, sidewalks, you name it. As soon as you see them they scuttle away or take an angry pose as though they will attack. It was hard to get a decent shot of them, they are very quick. Not only are the people hunting them, the gulls are having a field day grabbing them, then dropping them so the shell will break, cracked crab!
A police car was spotted the other night near Clarence Town, parked haphazardly by the side of the road. Turns out the cop was in the bush hunting down crabs, not criminals.
