Moussaka Mizzou

What do the two have in common??? Well, just that four Mizzou cronies have somehow ended up in the Rockies, sort of close to Denver and they relived the college days of the fabulous, legendary moussaka. After I returned from Greece back in 1968, I had developed a taste for the delicious Greek food, Moussaka was top of the list. Making this treat takes all day, between peeling, soaking, frying the eggplant, shredding numerous cheeses, creating the meat sauce and topping it all off with a scrumptious custard cheese sauce this dish is a full days commitment. Anyway, during our college days this was one of our favorite treats, Karli was a real hero to step up to the Herculean feat, thanks Karli!
