Vi Nais Casting Off to Open Sea

Little did we know what we were in for....turns out they were headed for Crooked Island first, then on to Acklins. Thank goodness they didn't stop at Long Cay. One thing we have learned is you can't believe a word of what they tell you about the "schedule" they really don't have one.
James is sitting next to the warmest spot on the boat, which became a coveted place as the temperature dropped. I ended up sleeping on the floor on top of a Home Depot box in front of a freezer you can see next to the Muster Station. The people who boarded the boat in Nassau, the previous day were lucky and had a cabin inside. Most of the cabins were occupied by crew.
