Bogota - Gold Museum

Ended up in Bogota instead of Cartagena because of a late flight. Decided to take in this gold museum. This exhibit was in a circular room with no lighting. Once they started the action they played water sounding music with Indians making noise, lights highlighted different parts of the displays. The circular display was in the floor and contained different levels of gold objects plus an enormous emerald.
Quito has a new airport which is way out of town. Took us almost two hours to get there, used the buses. Flew to Cali, Columbia, then Bogota. Spent the night in Bogota then flew to Cartagena.
