Delightful Gentleman in Sombrero

This was the best part of the hike, meeting this sweet old guy. He had a fantastic hat, it was really strange meeting him in the middle of nowhere, tending his cows. He either lived on a nearby cottage or had to walk a great distance to this meadow.
We had several handshaking's, assumed questions of where we were from, other odds and ends of conversation. I gestured toward the tie under his chin to keep on the hat and we managed to figure out he liked the string to keep on the hat in the wind.
