Piñata at San Blas Plaza - Cuenca

This was a different twist on whacking a piñata - they had clay pots with paper covers hanging from a rope strung between trees. Once the pot was whacked they looked inside the pot - never figured out the prize. There were tons of broken up pots swept to the side. While this was going on, there was also a parade of servers. they blocked off the street for the waiters who paraded with a tray of several drinks up the street.
