Lycian Tombs at Dalyan
Had to view these from a distance, really impressive, There are so many tourists I can understand why you can't get any closer.
Lycian Tombs
After lunch we headed down the river to the tombs. It's such a busy place they have a highway of channels, follow one to go down, another to go up.
Mud Baths at Dalyan
Supposed to make you feel 10 years younger......we went into a pool of mud, scooped it out and plastered ourselves with it.

Tomb of Amyntas - Ionic Temple
After the boat cruise we walked up to these ruins, sweating big time. Simply unbelievable how they carved them into rock. There are three large ones, a bunch of smaller sized ones.
More Ruins in Town
Right smack in the middle of the road was a nice tomb. They had an area of the ruins fenced off, unfortunately people were trashing it.
We walked the back streets, kids playing, ladies chatting, napping on rugs all in the shaded streets.

12 Island Cruise From Fethiye
We were picked up at our hotel, driven to the dock. Left port around 10:30. There are tons of these cruises, and really cheap. One of the boats was enormous, looked like Noah's Ark. We returned around 6 PM.
Tombs 350 BC Telmessos
They did good work back then. There are three of the large tombs carved into the sheer rock face. Fethiye has built up around the cliff, so the tombs are obscured from view if you are walking the city streets. There was an earthquake in 1958, leveled the city but spared the ruins.
Out in the Mediterranean
There was always a bit of a haze, never was clear. The sail boat was really nice, had a great lunch, stopped several times for us to snorkel.
