Another Tire Ripper Mishap at British Colonial

I dropped Chris off near the Junkanoo Hotel so he could search for Sharie and James (lost their cell phone number) the lady at the desk said they were out sight seeing. So Chris headed back to meet me at the parking lot. He has a strange magnetism for tire rippers. Several years back in Nassau he managed to rip up the two front tires on a rental car, he didn't see them. This time he had a one on one frontal assault with the rippers. Once again he didn't see them. He tripped over them and went down, came out in a somersault. Only a few puncture wounds, sprained wrist and lots of swearing. He had several spectators for the performance. He cleaned up at McDonalds while we dined on Egg McMuffins.

Potter's Cay Reconnaissance
Left McDonalds - More walking involved, we parked our new old 2005 diesel 4Runner at British Colonial Hilton and took off on foot to do reconnaissance for our ocean adventure on Island Link. We walked through all the tourist stuff, tried on some dresses at Lorene's, continued on past the bridge to Paradise Island, finally reached Potter's Cay where all the working boats depart. That's one hectic place. We scouted out everything, confirmed that we should arrive around 2pm for the voyage. They showed us the amenities......all refreshments were locked up and stayed that way the entire trip.
We started back into town but weakened when a nice taxi driver yelled out "Taxi?" so we pulled in and headed back. Chris noticed Bahamas Hand Printed store and the driver was very kind and stopped so I could take a look. Beautiful fabrics. He dropped us off near the Athena Greek Restaurant where we dined. Nice people watching from the second story balcony. After lunch we provisioned for our ocean voyage at Bay Street Groceries. Walked back to the car then drove to Potter's Cay.
