Oia - Santorini

The whole island sits up. There's one main road with several branches into the wider small flat area. While in Oia, largest town on the north end, we observed porters struggling with luggage for the people staying in the cliff clinging hotels. It was bad enough going down, can't imagine getting out of there, especially after all the shopping that goes on. There are no roads into the cliff side dwellings, just narrow cobbled paths. Our hotel is relatively flat, just three terraces. We do have to climb up steps to the main part of town. However there is a decent road at the front of the hotel, so a minivan delivered us here.
