Akrotiri - Jars

Located at Akrotiri, Santorini. Archeologists couldn't find a town name, so they went with the name of the modern town next to the ruins.
The huge jars were made from molds of the originals. They held olive oil, beer, water, wine, grains.
The rectangular shapes were beds, also made from a mold of the negative space created when the volcano erupted.
