Cave & Wine Storage Barrels

Another strange thing that went on here, was the caves the people continued to mine here. If they needed more room they would simply mine farther into the rock. Nowadays people can only build horizontal, not into the rock. It wasn't uncommon in the past to run into somebody else's cave.
They built on the hills to save all the flat land for farming.
